Canaiolo

The front door opens from the flower-filled piazza into a lovely, beam ceilinged wntry with a wide brick arch separating the kitchen from the sitting room. On one side is an open fireplace and, in a spacious kitchen, a dinin table that opens to twice its size; on the other, the sitting room furniture is enhanced by drawers and an arched window. Stairs from the centre of this room lead to the first floor, which has a bathroom, a twin bedroom, and a double bedroom with a private, small terrace looking into the owner’s garden. Guests have a reserved spot on  the lovely piazza near their front door ententrance for outdoor meals.

Accommodation

Guests have their own parking space and entrance, separate from the owners’ villa. While you enjoy your holiday, 100 meters away exquisite wines are slowly moving and maturing in oak casks in the ancient cellars below the villa, lovingly tended just as they have been for centuries past. A visit to the cellars is a wonderful way of cooling off, for the natural temperature there varies between 12 degrees in winter and 18 degrees in the high summer, all brought about by the construction of the ancient cellars themselves. Touring from Lornano is a constant delight along picturesque roads.

Around Canaiolo

The owners at the villa have their own, private parts of the grounds and parklands, and may occasionally use the pool. Guests have their own parking space and entrance, separate from the owners’ villa.
