Grapes: Sangiovese 100%.
Vineyards: Located at an altitude of 300 meters s.l.m. facing South- South/West
Training system: Spurred cordon.
Age Vineyards: New planting vineyards with an average density of 5,500 plants per hectare.
Land: Medium-textured soil with presence stratified sands alternating with shales, stony alluvial origin mixed with limestone.
Winemaking: From a selection of the best grapes picked by the Company in 2 different harvests, an early harvest at mid September and the remainder harvested at mid October, the carefully de-stemmed grapes are vinified in modern stainless steel tanks, with a maceration of 4-6h on the skins at a temperature of about 5 ° Celsius. The resultant must is then moved into stainless steel tanks in order to start the fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18°.
Tasting notes: Lovely fruity aromas in the nose with a pale pink colour. In the palate sharpness of fresh lemon, lime, green apple, with a distinctive salty minerality and fresh acidity with a clean crisp finish.
Serving temperature: 8°-10°.
